My name is Phil and Tailored Tree Services is the company I formed to offer all types of tree and hedge work to the people of Norfolk. I live in Sheringham and I work with my youngest son Rory who is currently studying for his level 3 Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture at Easton College in Norwich.

I studied at Capel Manor College in Enfield, London and hold a Level 2 Extended Certificate in Forestry and Arboriculture (awarded with distinction) this includes Ground based, Felling, Climbing and Pruning operations. I also hold the following Chain Saw Certificates;

CS30 – Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross Cutting and Stacking Small Diameter Timber using a Chainsaw.

CS31 – Fell and process small trees up to 380mm.

CS38 – Climb trees and perform aerial rescue.

CS39 – Use a chainsaw from a rope and harness

I am an associate member of the Arboricultural Association which is the professional/trade body supporting the interests and needs of arborists. This membership enables access to any changes to working practices, updates on tree pests and diseases, technical information on new tools and machinery and any changes to laws regarding tree works.

I specialise in small to medium garden trees, hedge cutting/trimming and can also help with other types of garden work. Please see my before and after photos, as I pride myself on doing an excellent job and leaving the site as clean and tidy as possible. I work with the some of the best tools available in the market, including STIHL Chainsaws and Hedgecutters, SILKY Handsaws and WOLFGARTEN Pruners and Loppers, as I believe quality tools not only help to make the job easier, but leave a better quality finish.

All waste is recycled at Shrubbs Farm, Edgefield, Melton Constable and an estimate of the cost will always be shown separately on the quotation. Please be aware that I will always check for TPO's (tree preservation orders) and if any trees are within a conservation area before undertaking any work.

I always hold full liability insurance up to £1 million.
