About us

We are proud to announce that Dominic Aslett has recently joined Le Bistro as Head Chef and has designed an exciting new menu for October. He comes from an enviable culinary background where he has worked alongside Michelin star chefs and in Rosette standard restaurants. He joins Le Bistro after being a key member of the start up team at the Gunton Arms which was named Michelin Pub of the Year, and more recently in a well known Gastro Pub in North Norfolk.

Dominic is a chef who is truly passionate about seasonal, local produce and will be offering his first special lunch menu at introductory prices so that everyone can indulge in the finest food from his kitchen, which includes him making his own bread, ice creams, stocks and Jus. We are also taking delivery of a new smoker that will provide freshly smoked salmon!

Le Bistro will offer something different in both the diversity of its food and menus, together with a unique location overlooking Norwich Marketplace and Guildhall Hill, specialising in fish and seafood dishes, in addition to serving meat, offal & vegetarian, the aim of Le Bistro is simple - to deliver the highest standards and quality of food, coupled with a level of service that is second to none.

The entrance to Le Bistro is on Exchange Street opposite the main entrance to Jarrold's department store, and leads to the upper floors with beautifully unique views over the City centre. We look forward to serving customers both old and new with our unique range of food offerings!
