Wembley Way

A great find opposite the main entrance of the new Wembley Stadium and a next to Wembley Arena. A dramatic, intimate and sophisticated r200 seater -restaurant and seperate bar. Traditional Chinese patterns hint towards the Oriental whilst a contemporary colour scheme of blues, purples and pinks create drama and ambience. Having recruit a team of the best Chinese chefs from arounf the world, Alisan offers some of the best Asian food in the country. The Dim Sum chef arrives at 8.00 each morning to prepare his exquisite morcels. The scallop shumai (£3.50) and poached Peking dumplings (£2.50) are heavenly. At the expensive end of the menu, the baked lobster in ginger and spring onions (£25.80) and vension strips in black pepper (12.00) are truly outstanding. For pud, the marbled cheesecake with rasberry compote and sour cherry is superb. The wine menu is sensibly priced with plenty on offer in the £13-£14 range. The stylish upstairs bar is spacious with a 35' high ceiling creating a unique atmosphere not usually associated this far from central London.
