Frazers Surveyors Ltd are a family run firm of Chartered, General Practice Valuation and Building Surveyors. We have extensive experience in all types of Survey and Valuation work and we offer professional advice on all aspects of Land and Buildings.

Frazers also provide a dedicated Property Finding service which specialises in locating and acquiring properties for clients with specific requirements, often as a result of accident or injury.

About Us

Frazers Estate Agents who were an established firm of Property Agents within the Surrey area. Typical for the late 1980's this affiliation quickly evaporated as Frazers Estate Agents was sold to a Corporate organisation. At that point Frazers Surveyors became a “stand alone" firm of Chartered Surveyors.







Riding on the back of the 1980's boom we quickly expanded to three offices at Kingston upon Thames, Woking and Camberley. However times and technology change. In line with most Surveying practices, Frazers has regionalised. The practice is now established at Woking with a satellite office at Hampton in Middlesex. It is good to have our Surveying and support services under one roof and we still cover the same geographical areas as before, but with greater efficiency.

Valuation

Purchasers of houses and flats may require simple re-assurance that their intended purchase is free from urgent or significant defect, or they may require a more detailed assessment of its physical condition.

Mortgage Valuation reports, prepared primarily for the lender, are not intended to serve these purposes. Frazers offer a range of survey reports to suit the differing needs of home purchasers and can also prepare valuation reports, for home purchase and other purposes. Valuations can often be incorporated into survey reports.

Home Buyer's Survey

A Home Buyer's Survey and Valuation package in a concise standardised form providing advice focused upon:



The general condition and constructional type of the property
Matters and defects the Surveyor judges to be either urgent or significant
Valuation of the Property as it stands
For how much the property should be insured

Building Survey

A highly detailed report, designed around the client's specific requirements and suitable for all properties but usually commissioned for older, larger, more complex, dilapidated or much altered buildings. It comprises of:

Comprehensive appraisal of the means and materials of construction
A technical analysis of significant defects revealed
Identification of less significant defects, general disrepair and shortcomings in the physical condition, maintenance and design of the building.

A Valuation can also be included in a Building Survey as an 'optional extra'.
Building Survey - Commercial Buildings (Shops, Offices, Workshops and Warehouses etc)
A Building Survey report of Commercial premises would be necessary for Freehold acquisition and Leasehold purposes. It should be remembered that Leasehold obligations can be onerous, resulting in considerable liabilities to the tenant/occupier, particularly on termination of the Lease. It is important that all potential occupiers of buildings are aware of their future repairing liabilities prior to legal commitment.
