Re-heated rubbish

Having just returned from a family Christmas get together held at the Ridger, I can certainly say that I shall not be eating there again. The portions were huge and reasonably priced promoting value for money however the quality was awful.The food was bland and tasted like it had either been sat there for a while and then re-heated or cooked in a microwave. The steak that my brother and partner had were dry and the chips were like cardboard. There was a party of 50 booked in at the same time as our table however the management should have forecast for this properly and ensured fresh food rather than the re-heated rubbish that we received.The only saving grace was that the deserts were lovely.The toilet facilities were not up to scratch with one of the party suggesting that we do not use them.....what does this usually say about the kitchen?
