Great Vets but very poor front desk service

Great vets! The hospital is very clean and spacious. The only problem is the staff at the front counter. The receptionist/s can come across rather bitchy at times and have the 'chip on the shoulder' attitude that they know everything well and above the owner of the pet. Yes, they may know a little more on rare occasions however I have never experienced a warm welcome from them like I have with the Vets in the practice. Hardly a smile to the customers and I have witnessed on at least 3 visits the staff behind the counter being quite rude to each other and idle gossip chit chat about clients (loud enough for other staff and customers to hear). With the reception being the first point of call when you arrive at the practice I believe the customer service should be second to none.....Especially when owners are taking there dog to the vet for concerning reasons. I have always being nice to them, however I am very well aware of the lack of customer service and attention to detail displayed and delivered. There are plenty of other great vets in the area and for this reason I have located another practice who are friendly all round and I feel now I can communicate on a level of trust and understanding. If only the vets knew how poorly the customer service can be at the practice at times. Such a shame. I know I am not the only one who feels this way and I know the practice has lost many clients for this reason....Again, such a shame. The worst customer service I have received from a veterinary practice.

All my animals are registered at this vets and i find they are great value, very understanding and lovely to deal with. So much cheaper than other vets i've been to in lincoln and havent had my animals repeatedly misdiagnosed as i've had happen at other surgarys. Would recommend without a seconds thought!
