At Waterloo Cottage Farm we raise our own free range pigs and lambs to ensure the highest quality meat. We have also carefully selected some other excellent local suppliers who share our passion for animal welfare, and flavour.

Our Poultry are bred at Fossemeadow Farm, Frolesworth, Leicestershire. These are slow growing birds allowed to roam free during the day, but, safe in small houses at night. Nick and Jacob started breeding poultry about 2006 and are practicing the same high standards of animal husbandry as ourselves. Their free range bronze turkeys, ducks, cockerels and geese have been stunning for the past two years. The flavour of the birds really does take some beating.

We make these on the farm with the finest cuts from our own pigs. Our master butcher uses his own special sausage recipes and won a coveted Gold Award in the 2011 Food Awards. Our bacon is traditionally cured and smoked and tastes like bacon used to.
