this restaurant was a joy from the minute we walked through the door and were pleasently greeted by the friendly bar man who served us our drinks including 2 superb cocktails! better than i think ive had any whwere else. after that we were sitted at our table where we were presented an excellent choice of wine and menu. the food was thouroughly enjyed and dessert was delicious i had the chocolate brownie on that occasion but we have returned many times since and found the service and food is consistantly fabulous! i would recomend to any one.

People rave about this place, but I think it is mediocre at best! It's not massively expensive, but the food, in my opinion, is quite bland and tasteless. It has been around for quite a while and I think it's a bit stuck in a rut and has become a bit complacent. The last time we visited the food we were in a large party. They didn't seem to cope well, but then I never suppose you get great food when you are dining in a large group. The seafood paella was horrendous and overcooked. It must have been a "boil in the bag" that had been over boiled. Not what you expect from this sort of establishment. We were very unimpressed. There are better restaurants in Loughborough, such as Cactus Cafe, Fifty Lounge and Moomba.
