The Best Greek Food I have Tasted outside of Cyprus
I have recently found this Taverna in Glenfield. I travel around Great Britain and Europe on a regular basis for pleasure and prefer to eat Greek food if I find a Greek Restaurant in the area I'm staying. I never realised this gem was on my doorstep. The Menu is comprehensive, reasonably priced and, most importantly, authentic Greek. I enjoy a good Meze. The first time I visited I took friends. We ordered a Meze for three and, for the first time in all the Greek Restaurants I have eaten in, was unable to finish the meal due to the amount served. On my second visit I ordered a Mini Kleftico Meze for two and still could not finish it. The host Leon is charming and visits your table to ensure the food is to your satisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending this Taverna as it serves very authentic Greek food at very reasonable prices. - Phil Hobson

A must for anybody who's been to Greece/Cyprus
What a fantastic little gem of a restaurant. Amazing food & lots of it. Great value, great feel about the place, far from posh but better for that. We were so well looked after we will be back within a week or two. The meze menu just keeps coming & the lamb kleftico to finish was outstanding. Nearly could'nt have the complementery fruit & chocs & turkish delight & Cypriot port to finish. Twenty plus years & still great.

Fantastic!! Will Definitely Go Back!!!
This was our first time at a greek restaurant and we weren't disappointed, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, the owner was a fantastic host and the food was heavenly. They are very accommodating and the portion sizes were very generous and reasonably priced. I can usually find something to complain about in any restaurant but Troodas Tavern has left me speechless.

Outstanding food and great value for money
Last Friday I used this site to find a Greek restaurant and naturally went with Bablonia as it was the only one with a review - it was shocking!!!! - Terrible service, so we left. We then found this restaurant in Glanfield, and it was fantastic!! - proper Greek atmosphere and run by Greeks - beautiful! The amount of food we got for our money was incredible. Definitely recommend it
