Zio Pizzeria

Located on Main Street Barrowford, the modern interior of this restaurant disguises the authentic Italian kitchen brigade inside. Zio's menu contains many of the classic Italian regional dishes you would expect to find, but also dishes that would not seem out of place on a traditional Sunday inLancashire, such as slow cooked lamb shank. The specials menu changes weekly; a starter example would be a dish of steamed fillet of cod served cold with compote of red onion, with a pesto and lemon mayo, or fillets of red snapper with mussels and prawns as a main course. Pizza's are mouth wateringly delicious, from the simple Acciughe:- anchovies, onions, fresh chilli, oregano and tomato, to the mamma mia:- salame, meatballs, Tuscan sausage and of course tomato and 100% mozzarella

Our chefs can produce any combination of pasta or sauce. If they have the ingredients to hand, then it can be made to your special recipe.

Here it seems nothing is too much trouble for the front of house staff or the kitchen, which makes for a relaxing evening out, whether it is for a cosy intimate table for two, or a boisterous party table of ten.
