About us

Established since 1987 David Rawlins is now in his twenty fifthy year of improving the homes of people in the East Lancashire and Northern Manchester areas. He has been responsible for the design and installation of many kitchens, fitted bedrooms and window replacement work in the area including:-

Kitchens

All our cabinets are 18mm RIGID units with Full Backs on both wall and base units.
Cabinets available in a variety of finishes colour matched specifically to the door finish ordered.
Front edges are all 3mm pvc to prevent damage
Fully adjustable legs which prevent cabinet damage in the event of a flood.
Drawer boxes are solid 18mm bottoms with Blum metal sides and runners, OR we offer Blum Softclose drawers as an option
Wall units available in thee heights and special size units can be made.
A wide selection of door finishes available including solid woods, gloss finish and over two dozen vinyl wrapped designs.
A wide selection of interior fittings also available

Fitted Bedrooms

WE OFFER A FULL DESIGN AND PLANNING SERVICE FOR A RANGE OF FITTED BEDROOM AND HOME OFFICES.

Our fitted bedrooms are a full cabinet construction with interior shelving and full backs.
The fully fitted look is inhanced with scribing panels to the side walls and ceiling
There is a wide range of door finishes including over twenty vinyls and timber doors are also available, with mirror doors as necessary.
To finish off the interiors can either be a variety of shelving and hanging rails or can be fitted out with a selection of wirework fittings.

David Rawlins Kitchens and Windows have been using Profile22 upvc products for many years. This is one of the top three profiles in the country and is specified by architects and councils throughout the country.
Profile22 frames together with ARGON filled 28mm double glazed units and the very highest standards of hinges and locks, means that we can, confidently, give a FULL 10 YEAR GUARANTEE on all our upvc windows and doors.

You may have heard some horror stories surrounding direct sales techniques employed by many double glazing sales people, that don't take no for an answer. The 4 hour sales pitch, aggresive tactics, nagging phone calls and ludicrous discounts are common place, which all makes for a very unpleasant experience.
There is a better way. This is a family run, local business, operating on it's reputation, with the owner handling most of the sales and certainly no pressure tactics and no commissioned salesmen.

Guardian Solid Conservatory Roof Conversion

The Guardian Solid Conservatory Roof System will transform your existing conservatory into a comfortable, all year round, living room.
With the Guardian Roof conversion you will benefit from a high performance insulated roof with a lightweight aluminium frame, two rigid layers of solid insulated foam, insulated plasterboard interior, a vapour membrane and completed with a choice of tiled outer roof finishes.
The existing walls, windows and doors remain and the conversion then gives you a new all year round living space.
The conversion will give you a new living room that will not be too hot in summer and too cold in winter. There well be a reduction in energy bills, a reduction in rain noise and also solar glare.
The internal finish will be skimmed plaster with the addition of roof lights and roof windows if you would like them.
