Cat lost whilst in cattery
My advice to anybody wishing to leave their cat at this cattery is don't if you ever wish to see them again. They do not follow proper safety protocol and by their own admission, allowed our cat to escape leaving our other cat alone and confused. When you complain you get told you are emotional then accused of being abusive. Although leaflet delivery had been promised whilst we were on holiday, on checking those houses identified they confirmed they had not received any communication whatsoever. Cats Protection visited with a trap only to find the owner manager Wayne Littlechild and his mother admin manager Olga Johnson had gone to Hastings for the day, when they should have been looking for my cat. So the result is our beloved rescue cat is out there with no one having actively searched for her. I hope no-one else has to go through this although we have been told this is not an isolated case. Therefore, in my opinion they are not fit to run a cattery and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. To add insult to injury today we have received a letter which totally contradicts the emails previously received and a cheque for a paltry sum of £500 "to compensate for loss" I don't want compensation just my cat back which I probably would have if they had been proactive in their search for her. To date, despite intensive searching by us she is still missing.
