Dance Expressions is a specialist Latin and Ballroom dance school teaching and coaching individuals, couples and classes near Sevenoaks in Kent at all levels and ages.

We run classes for Adults and Children with private tuition for those who would like one-on-one instruction.

Whether you are a complete beginner, a wedding couple looking to learn a few steps for your first dance, or an advanced competitor, there are classes and lessons to suit you.

Wedding Dance

Taking the floor for the first dance at your wedding is always special and should be a wonderful memory of the day.
We will choreograph a dance for your chosen music which can be as simple or as adventurous as you like. Whether you decide on a slow piece of music suitable for perhaps a Foxtrot or Waltz or something faster for a Jive, we will tailor make a routine to suit you. If you have never danced before it is usually better to keep it simple so that you feel confident and yet still impress your friends and family. The most important part of the experience is that you enjoy it.
The majority of people have around 4-6 private lessons but if you find you need more to add a few extra highlights or just to feel more comfortable about it, you can book them as you go. Lessons are booked in 30 minute sessions so feel free to book half an hour or an hour.
Remember to bring your music along with you to your first lesson.

Private Tuition

We offer high quality private tuition by qualified instructors to individuals or couples who are either just seeking to improve quickly or who want to compete in competitions and to take exams. We have a proven track record coaching couples to reach their full potential and tailor private tuition to meet each couple's needs. You may just want a one-off lesson to catch up on what you have missed from the class or to give you more confidence.

We also offer fast-track Latin and Ballroom dance tuition for those who need to learn the basics for events such as weddings and balls. If you have a specific piece of music you'd like to dance to, we will put together the choreography specifically for you and keep it very simple if that is what you need.

Competitions and Exams

We provide comprehensive tuition to help our students take exams with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing. Pre-bronze to annual awards are available for every standard and age from 4 to 104. Two exam sessions each year. Next one is February 2015 starting at 9am. As a school we also regularly enter competitions as well as coaching dancers for open events.

Some winning teams – the Juvenile (under 12's) and the Adult team both came first against 15 other schools in the south east area winning trophies they get to keep for a year. Congratulations to everyone for dancing so well!
