About Us

arry Braithwaite entrepreneur and director of The Race Group along with Paul Chambers former Director of Betagas Training and BG Training Services formed EG Training Services in 2007, after the compulsory purchase of BG Training Services site on the Old Kent Road, London

The newly equipped centre built in Crayford just off the A2 and M25, on the borders of South East London and Kent is able to offer specialist Electrical, Gas, Water and Renewable Energy Training and Assessments within the Domestic and Industrial Commercial sectors. As well as associated Health and Safety courses.

All the courses are conducted in a friendly comfortable environment by trainers and assessors with many years of experience in their relevant trades.

The centre can offer bespoke courses both for companies and individuals, along with a range of upskilling courses for those wishing to develop their skill base.

For those new to the gas industry, subject to our minimum entry criteria we can offer a basic entry level course leading onto a fully accredited Gas Safety course and ACS assessments. This then enables you to apply for Gas Safe Registration, we may also be able to offer work experience helping you to produce your work based portfolio through our partnership with Group3 Energy if required.

Are you a Plumber, Electrician, Kitchen installer or other allied trade and you want to upgrade into gas engineering, then we may be able to help you. We can deliver a 10 or 20 day training course that can give you a starting point in the industry.
