The curry here can be absolutely great, better than my favourite place, The Ancient Raj, at times. They have a very wide choice, and a lot of vegetarian options too. I have eaten here more times than I can remember. However, be warned that I have had a few dodgy curries - uncooked lumps of potato are not nice, and charcoal style naan did not really make a great side dish. However, the location is (currently) not so great. The restaurant is very cramped, and you are really packed in! It is clean though, and they are having an extension built, so hopefully it won't be so bad soon. The place is always rowdy on a friday or saturday night, and so be warned. The main problem here is the staff. When in a large group, they have tried to make us move tables mid meal as they had overbooked! They also attempted to overcharge us (by about 25% - £30) on one instance, but this may have been a genuine mistake. The staff can also be pretty rude, but have been much improved the last couple of times I've visited.

The Kashmir tandoori has a good reputation with the locals, its not my faourite in Canterbury, although i know many people would disagree.I would reccommend people try the chicken garlic masala it is absoltly gorgeous, and the meat just melts in your mouth. The staff are polite, helpful and attentiveThe restaurant is clean and comfatable. They do loads of special offers, so its worth checking there website out from time to time.... they 9/10 advertise their specials on there.I would say its a very high standard establishment and definatly worth a try.
