THE PLANT MARKET

Here on site we grow an amazing range of beautiful plants at AMAZING prices!. We are here all year round to supply you with bedding and basket plants in the spring and autumn,plus a great variety of perennials and grasses.

You can pick up gifts all year round, and we make beautiful wreaths and floral displays for Christmas - there's one to suit every pocket.

THE WOOD SHED
An ever growing area, We have a brand new shed - bit of a man cave really - where all our lovely animal planters, benches etc are produced. This is currently being extended thanks to a grant from Wight Aid.

THE VEG SHED
Within the Nursery we have the veg shed. We sell a variety of fresh fruit and veg in season; this is run by our team including Darren who helps get everything ready in the morning..

GARDENING
'The Mower Men are a great team who love to get out and about to tend your lawns. They have been trained to use the mowers and strimmers, with assistance, and take great pride in doing a good job
THE MOWER MEN really enjoy the opportunity to get out in the community and work hard. They have all done their initial training at the Nursery, and always come out with a member of staff to assist them. Pete and Neil are the supervisors, and each morning, they collect their teams and head out for the day.
We risk assess all jobs before we start, and Care in the Garden provides everybody with protective clothing.

Apart from maintaining the nursery site, they have several other jobs on the go at the moment.

The Mower men also get out and about helping with our planting contracts for Red Funnel, Whippingham Parish Council, East Cowes Town Council and Newport Parish Council. We plant and maintain troughs, baskets and public borders in and around these towns.

WORK BUDDY SCHEME
We believe it is a fundamental human right, that everyone has the opportunity to a full and meaningful life. Here at Care in the Garden we aim to prove that everyone has a right to a place in the working world, even thought they may need support to achieve it.

We hope that the corporate world will begin to appreciate and understand this and begin to work with us to further this aim.

We understand that in today's marketplace, with the ever increasing costs, companies may be concerned about incurring extra expenses. We strive to prove that a person supported by a work buddy can be a productive asset to the company.

We will soon be offering workshops to local businesses to show how this can benefit
