I went here last night for a celebratory meal with my partner. I hadn't visited this place in years but it didn't disappoint. We both opted for the set course menu which was a good offer, 3 courses for £19.95. I went for the avocado and pancetta spinach salad to start which was a generous sized portion and my partner opted for the deep fried mozerella. He then chose the rib eye steak for main, when it arrived he was told that it was actually a fillet steak and was that ok. That's a top of the range steak! For a set course meal that was pretty good. He obliged of course. I had the chicken escalope which again was huge. For pudding (not that I had the room) I had the banofee pie which was more like a cheesecake with ice cream and my partner went for a cocktail instead (he doesn't have a sweet tooth) which they didn't charge extra for.We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely go back.Beware, those with a disability would struggle in this establishment as they don't seem to have any facilities on the ground floor. This is the only thing that lets them down.

I enjoyed their other branches in Ruislip and Rickmansworth so thought I'd look in. A claustrophobic corridor leads to an indoor back room with windows in the ceiling which are shut presumably to keep the air con and fan working but there's a fire exit at the back.Price-wise, the drinks by the glass are dearer than the coffees and even liqueur coffees. Those on budgets will appreciate the two course and three course meal deals before 7pm and the lunch deals before 5 pm, though it's mostly pasta and pizza, bread or pasta and cheese, meat in breadcrumbs or with cream sauce and sugary desserts with ice cream.I had the freshest, healthiest thing I could see to start, the avocado, tomato and buffalo cheese (which is supposed to be good for you). I agree with the other comments. Yes, it is a relaxed unhurried place with friendly staff, yes the desserts are icy like they've just been unfrozen, you get too much pasta, the waiters are trained - but not to put the cups down with the handles on the right , so I turned the handle around and politely told them about this as we chatted to them happily. If you are very careful you can sit for a long time and eat a reasonably priced meal.

I have eaten at Sazio's several times with Italian friends, who all absolutely love this restaurant. I myself love the relaxed atmosphere, the stylish decor, the friendly waiting staff and the excellent food. We usually go to Saizio's as a large group, but it is equally lovely to eat there for a romantic meal. I have never felt 'hurried along' at Sazio, we have always been left to enjoy our coffees, finish our wine and chat after a meal. From the menu my boyfriend recommends the Veal Milanese and the Lobster and Crayfish Risotto, and I recommend the Pollo Amalfi and the Wild Mushroom Lasagne, coupled with a large glass of Pinot Grigio,

I have only been to this Italian restaurant once but was very impressed and will definitely be going again. The inital entrance to the restaurant is down a long colourful corridor. When my friend and I made a spur of the moment decision to go there it was very busy and we hadn't booked, however they gave us a table and did not rush us. The ambience was lovely, the service was very good and the food was great.
