The Half Moon
This is a fantastic example of what a pub use to be. The staff are extremely friendly, towards the point of you feeling like a regular on your second night there. They are also very on the ball and know how to look after their beers. The beer is great, and they have quite the selection for you to choose from, along with a respectable wine list.They served great value food, and if you do have a bite to eat you run a fairly good chance of meeting Moon – The pubs dog who can smell a treat a mile away – Even if you didn't know you had one… crisps, nuts, chips…Considered by many to be one of the best pubs in Hitchin. If you enjoy your beer, and want a place with atmosphere then you shouldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the Half Moon.
