Ruined dress

I sent a favourite dress of mine for dry cleaning for at least the 8th or 9th time, each time it has come back perfect, however this time when i got it home and put it on it has been stretched by at least 4inches in length and completely pulled out of shape!!! When i took it back to complain i was met with what i would class as an extremely unhelpful attitutde by the Manager who said that the dress would have to be sent off for testing etc and then to the insurers as she can't understand how this would have happened. This dress is approx 1 year old so I no longer have the receipt but i informed the Manager that the dress cost me £99.99 she said that she would have to call the company that made the dress to varify this. I have been a regular customer with Network for the past 18 years and my argument is that i wish to replace this dress so why should i have to be out of pocket i would like the my money now and they can then deal with the insurers why should i have to wait months for an insurance claim to go through, i also feel annoyed that they need to VARIFY how much i paid for the dress as if my word is not enough. It is disgraceful customer service i would definately not use them again.
