Underrated - its fantastic!
I really do think this restaurant is underrated so far. I think its one of the best restaurants we have in the area, but only if you want seafood! This is the reason god put Loch Fyne on the earth! There is a huge choice available to you, lots of specials too. I went with quite a large group of friends and yet they managed to serve us, cook and deliver it all together and all the meals were delicious. You even see the options available to you when you walk in as they are laid out on an ice bed. They have an extensive wine menu with some wonderful options on there. Prices aren't cheap however!

fresh from the sea
This is a really nice surprise. We stepped in by chance as we had never heard of this chain of restaurant before. The location is really nice, with lots of old wood walls and ceiling. The food is on par with the venue. A large diversity of fish dishes, freshly cooked for you on premice. The fishes and shells are even displayed on the iced bed when you come in. Nice wine list too. Overall a cosy atmosphere if you manage to get a seat avway from the main room, by the fireplace for instance. Pricewise it is all very acceptable: for a dozen of oysters, two main courses, a glass of wine and a desert, we paid a total of £60. Totally worth it.
