Restaurant - Pub Food in Winchester
88 Chesil Street
WINCHESTER
Hampshire
SO23 0HX
The restaurant is a converted pub that still has its warmth and friendliness, but is now solely a restaurant. The food is freshly prepared daily in our kitchen and could be described as 'Modern British'. If you are looking for a relaxed evening out with warm, friendly service then look no further.
The menu and Outdoor eating huts with one table in each.

This felt a nice and friendly place, it is more on the classy side and not pub prices but unless you hit the win hard the bill won't break the bank. It looks like it used to be a pub and has bare walls and boards and some interesting pictures on the wall. The food was interesting and tasted great.

I had a really nice dinner at the black rat in winchester last week. I had a really good stake, Char grilled onglet. It was very tasty and the waitress recomend a nice red that we enjoyed with it. There was a really good atmosphere and good service.
