bed and breakfast with dogs

we stayed in the early part of august ,2010 with our dogs and was told it was dog friendly, to which a fashion it was. The breakfast was good and the room was old fashioned but acceptable and big enough. We expected a four course breakfast but received only a three course, there was no bowl of fruit as mentioned in the guide. We were told when we arived that the two dogs 'would receive a 'dog goody bag' but we received nothing. The dog garden for walking the dogs for use of toilet facilities was just about big enough for the two dogs to walk a few steps then turnaround. To take the dogs for a walk you had to walk down a very busy main road which was very dangerous and would not advise it because the paths from it lead in housing estates. We felt that we were misguided about it being dog friendly - because the dogs were totally ingnored and not even seen.
