Restaurant - English in Dursley
Lower Wick
Dursley
Gloucestershire

Very disappointing and overpriced. Began badly with 'baked Camembert' that was only partially baked. Though it did come with a very tasty chutney. Nice as it was, I wasn't expecting to see the same chutney on top of my duck and cabbage (main course)! Staff did not ask once how the meal was, so no opportunity to give direct feedback. Would not bother again!

Hidden away down charming country lanes you will find The Pepper Pot Restaurant, at Lower Wick, - an unpretentious, yet contemporary eatery, light and airy, with tasteful art, generous tables and two fires. Intimate 'private' dining room also. Professional, friendly and affable staff. The menu has an impressive repertoire within these relaxed , sophisticated and welcoming surroundings. Food presentation is a very high standard. A fresh take on rural contemporary dining, the food and the surroundings match perfectly. Very good value for money and every visit is a pleasant one.
