off to Halfords
I tried the wickford branch of cycle King and to request a task of four jobs, including a refit of a chain. I called to ask if my bike was ready for collection and was told it was. I paid and collected the bike, upon my return home it was evident that the chain had not been replaced - I had not been told this and it was only when I called to query that they told me they were not able to fit a chain as they were unable to obtain one even after holding on to my bike for 3 days with no communication. The manager was extremely unhelpful,did not apologise or try rectify the issue. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of communication. Off to Halford now as I can not afford to go anywhere else. Hopefully a YouTube demonstations will be more helpful!!!!
