Having just left my Doberman bitch with Samantha and the Robb clan I am very pleased with the service! On arrival, I immediately felt at ease and liked her location and facilities. Was most impressed when she asked me in detail about our routine, discipline commands and for as much information as we could give, most others do not bother to take the time! Simply put, I liked her and so did my very precious doggy we shall continue to use her services whenever we travel.

Very impressed
I have been looking for a local 'dog boarder' and have read all the reviews on this page and others. I have always preferred to make my own judgment on things and so regardless of good/bad reviews I contacted Samantha and went to visit her with my 2 dogs. I can honestly say that immediately I felt at ease with her and more importantly so did my dogs, in fact Daisy made herself at home and had a good wander around her house!! Samantha spent a lot of time asking questions about our dogs and our routine, she showed us around her house and showed us where our dogs would eat, sleep, where she takes them for a walk etc. As with all dog lovers, we all worry about leaving our dogs when we go away and always feel guilty about it and wonder what they are up to, are they happy, settled etc?? I had to leave my dogs in kennels once and even then I knew it wasn't right for them or for me and so I know to go on my 'gut feeling'. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I can go away at the end of April and will have no concerns about Barney and Daisy, I know they will settle, get on well with Samantha's dog and most importantly will be treated like a member of their family. All I need to do now is check that she can have them an extra day for me!!!

Look here for PROFESSIONAL, LOVING PET CARE
I've been using Samantha for 10+ months. It gives me a great sense of security while at work to know that Charlie, my 3 year old lab-cross, is not home-alone but out exercising and having fun with such a caring and competent individual. I often wish I was fluffy, 4-legged and had his life! I trust her implicitly and have always found her reliable, adaptable and very professional. I would(and have)highly recommend Samantha. She really is a dogs best friend and provides a home from home service.

Puppy Love......Highly Recommended
Samantha looks after our puppy on a regular basis because of our long working hours/travel. His tail wags and he gives her lots of kisses when he sees her and any of the Robb clan. It's like going to a playgroup, long walks in the fields, often with other 4-legged pals to play with and even in the house playtime doesn't end. He comes home dog-tired, happy and safe. We are extremely gratified with the service, level of care and attention, regular communication and love Samantha gives him.

fantastic service
Samantha looked after our kittens last summer, she came round a week before our holiday to meet them. We went away on holiday reassured that they would be in safe loving hands. We received a few text whilst away to let us know all was well. On our return we had a great daily diary which was full of the things the kittens had been up to whilst in her care. We were so pleased with her service that we have booked her again for this summer. highly recommended, excellent service. Thank you.

Pumper and care that got my attention
I am using Claws and Paws every time I am on business travel or holiday. I am often travelling and therefore I was very worried about my little dog. I was looking for a high quality dog sitting care with understanding of my flexible time arrangements. Since the very first meeting with Samantha, I knew that my little chihuahua-boy is in capable hands. Warm, welcoming family environment is exactly what my little boy needs. Nice environment with garden dedicated only for dogs really got my attention since our initial meeting. I was amazed about professional behaviour with focus on details such as my dog's diet and extras such as dog delivery that really got my attention. Every time, I receive a short text message from Samantha about my little darling. I am absolutely happy and satisfy with the quality of the service Samantha provides. I can only truly recommend Claws and Paws. Thank you Samantha for your care.

AVOID!
We hired Samantha to sit our puppy for 1 hour on 5 different dates. She came across as a pleasent lady but appearances are deceptive... We have an alarm system that logs (via unique fobs) to the second when you come in and come out. I checked the log and here is what I found: 15/11/10 - Arrived 13:34 - Left 1400 - 26 mins 16/11/10 - Arrived 11:44 - Left 11:54 - 10 mins 26/11/10 - Arrived 13:15 - Left 13:29 - 14 mins 30/11/10 - Arrived 12:12 - Left 12:45 - 30 mins (this time at least she charged for 45 min). 6/12/10 - Arrived 12:04 - Left 12:50 - 46 mins. To cap things off, my wife stayed in the house upsairs on 26th to make sure the technology was working, and yep, confirmed her times When confronted with the evidence she was utterly unrepentant. She started to make up a story about taking our puppy out of the house for a walk - my puppy is obviously a clever boy as he has the ability to pass through walls and get into the house on his own as Samantha never booked back in after leaving the house! Furthermore Samantha writes us a little letter about the activities they do over the 'hour' - walks are never mentioned. If your an existing customer - if she is ripping me off, she is ripping you off as well. If your not, do not use her. Legal note - all the above claims are provable, logged and stored.
