Mike Porter has spent over 33 years working in the entertainment field, 17 of which have been in radio.
He has DJ'ed in front of crowds of up to 50,000 people. He spent some time in Europe working for Planet Hollywood during which time he entertained crowds at concerts for Robbie Williams and Oasis.
Mike began working as a mobile DJ in 1979 entertaining at local youth clubs and various school discos. Over the ensuing years he gained experience in a variety of functions and was soon being hired to entertain at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties and various other celebrations. He went on to entertain at black tie and corporate functions for various London hotels and began working at a number of prestigious venues including the Ritz, Savoy, Hilton, Londoner, Royal Lancaster, Royal Westminster, Café Royal and Whitbreads. Because of the experience Mike has gained from his many years in this field he is able to DJ using a variety of formats for many different functions of every level.
