Restaurant - Turkish in Eastbourne
85 South Street
Eastbourne
East Sussex

Went there Saturday evening thought it had only recently opened but looking at the reviews it had been open since September 2012 There was a large party of us and the seating arrangement wasn't very well laid out. Most had the set meal but the starters left much to be desired the way it was served. Not good value for money' no atmosphere. Very disappointing.

Five of us decided to try Pacha for the first time and i,m afraid it coul be the last. The food was verging on the tasteless and not value for money.Three meals were overcooked and dry, needed a spicey sauce. It became very smokey from the cooking. We ordered and when it arrived it was mixed fruit tea from a bag !!!!Hope for their sakes that the food improves. The staff were friendly and doing their best but sorry, just did not compensate for the whole experience.

Was eager to try this new Turkish restaurant in Eastbourne as it does look great, but came away extremely disappointed, although the restaurant staff are extremely polite and doing their best, the food is bland and over-priced for what it is. Trying to re-order drinks and get them within an hour seemed hopeless, also this restaurant has serious lighting and ventilation problem, on the Saturday night we visited, the restaurant became thick with smoke from the charcoal grill we presume and became very uncomfortable, so bad other customers were complaining and members of our party with young children had to leave early and on leaving the premises are clothes smelt of smoke, not very attractive especially on a night out.

After long expecting and waiting for the resturant to open, I was pleasantly surprised as to how great it was, this was my first experience with Turkish food and I was felt to feel like I was on holiday eating at a Turkish resturant in turkey. The service good, it was a little slow but that is to be expected on the opening night, the food was great the staff were fantastic and the bar was amazing! Overall I had a lovely time and will defiantly be recommending it to people and returning for more soon!

Saturday 1st September -a celebration dinner for five. Food was bland, bland, bland. Vegetatarian option x 2 very bland, veg kebab was large courgettes, half a pepper, tomato sauce just that no garlic no herbs no spice!. Sizzling Chicken kebabs x 2, dry chicken, no sauce no vegs just dry chicken with a dry wrap served with half a raw tomato and piece of lettuce with no seasoning or sauce. Young waitresses were very friendly and with a little more experience will be great. The more mature owners and staff were very friendly. Beautiful decor. Pity about the food. We won't be returning.

This restaurant is terrible. Very small portions very large prices. Lots of people complaining to manager. £100 meal for 3 could have shared a £3.60 kebab and got more satisfaction. void pasha like the plague. They also add service charge. Cheeky....

Very disappointed with our experience at pasha last night. Had very high expectations but left very bemused & confused. How can a new restaurant get it so wrong on the first couple of nights. Very small tasteless portions for what they charge.Would never recommend pasha to anyone. To add service charge at their discretion is disgraceful.Have eaten in every top restaurant in sussex and have never experienced anything like last night.Wish them all the luck because they will need it.

Very un-happy about our experience here, after having high hopes about this restaurant. We found the staff to be friendly enough but very un organised! After waiting for our main about half an hour after we had finished our starter. The whole meal was cold, we asked for some green veg as a side dish but was offered a salad as an alternative which seemed a very strange combiation with a lamb shank with gravy! It eventually came back not much better than the 1st mesl & can only be described as a roast dinner with gravy with rice & carrots. They were cheeky enough to add a service charge which we didnt pay out of principle. Might still be early days but thought for this reason it would have been alot better.
