Having just been in for a drink and food I needed to visit the toilet - DISGUSTING is the only word to describe the state of the gents toiletI asked to cancel my food order - if the toilets are indicative of the hygiene standards in this pub I decided I didn't want to risk the food

under new management
this pub has just got new management as of March 2008, and I spoke to the landlord the other day who said that he was aiming to seriously improve the food. It will still be a bit of a scrum on a Friday night probably, but it's got quite a nice little garden area, so a good bet for a weekend afternoon
