The rich history of the ancient port town of Poole is revealed in four floors of galleries housed in a 19th century quayside warehouse. The Museum was reopened in 2007 following a major redevelopment.
Displays range from archaeology to art, from pirates to potteries. Highlights include the Iron Age Poole logboat, the finest collection of Poole Pottery on public
display, and a replica hide where you can view the birds of Poole Harbour.
