This is a lovely restaurant and has a great location in the centre of Bournemouth. The staff have always been very welcoming, friendly and efficient. There is a big choice for everyone and the portions are generous. It is the sort of place to go for a celebration as its not cheap but it's worth it. You can get dressed up and have an extended evening out enjoying several courses. They can accomodate big groups but you can also tuck away in a corner to have a quiet meal if there are just 2 of you. Well worth visiting. Car parks nearby.

I think I think the Manadrin is the best Chinese restaurant in Bournemouth. I have been here hundreds of times over the years and every time the food is delicious- not greasy like many places. Also, you don't wake in the middle of the night gasping for water because of all the MSG! This place is always busy and you will need to book at the weekend. It is a big place and they have some big round tables, which is nice for parties. Food is excellent. The price is mid range but well worth paying a bit extra. Service is good too.

We ate here around Christmas time, and the restaurant was busy with pre christmas shoppers. There wasn't a wait for a table, but it was made clear to us at the start that our table would be available for us for approximately an hour before it was required for the next booking. Ordinarily I would have been put off by this, however we did only want a quick bite to eat so it didn't present us with a problem. The restaurant had a very traditional appeal to it with the touches of hot flannels after your meals, which were cooked very quickly and well. The menu selection was adequate, yet it could have provided a few more choices. The prices however were reasonable for the area, and our meal for two with drinks only came to just over £20.The table was cleared very quickly when we had finished and there was a nice touch of having both cutlery as well as chop sticks available on the table.Overall the service was fine, if a bit rushed but due to the season we allowed this.
