In our workshop we make and sell beautiful yurts. Sizes range from 10ft to 30ft in diameter.

During the summer season we also hire out 18ft yurts for party, festival and wedding accommodation. Our yurts are beautifully furnished for up to 4 people in comfy double and single beds (you choose the combination!). If you need a wood burning stove or a luxury breakfast hamper to wake up to, this can also be arranged.

About Us

Nestled in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, our talented team make the most stunning yurts from locally-sourced ash. Their craftsmanship is second to none, just step inside one of the yurts and you will see the wow factor for yourself!
Designed to give you even more enjoyment from the great outdoors, our yurts are ideally suited for glamping at a countryside campsite or a fun-filled festival, and they are just the ticket for an elegant wedding reception or big outdoor party.

We have worked with the likes of The National Trust and Riverford Organic as well as schools and wedding providers to supply yurts for events, parties and private use. Our Yurts

Our yurts are true yurts built in the Kyrgyz style and adapted for a European climate. The beauty of our yurts really comes from the woodwork which creates such a stunning structure. We use locally-grown ash which we steam-bend to create a striking shape and sense of space, leaving oodles of headroom so that everyone can stand comfortably and move around freely.

Whilst the original Kyrgyz yurts were covered in felt, we cover ours with a hard wearing cotton canvas that is fully waterproofed and rot resistant, so you can relax knowing that you'll stay perfectly dry inside!

Buying a Yurt for All Seasons

Undoubtedly you will already have an idea of when you'd like to use your yurt, and we can tailor your yurt to suit you and ensure you're kept warm and snug whatever the weather. As a basic rule, we recommend the following:

Summertime only: a basic yurt will do the trick if you're using your yurt in the height of the summer.

An extended summer: add a wood burning stove to catch the late spring and early autumn.

Everything but winter: add a thermal lining and you can keep cosy in your yurt until winter.

All year round: add waterproof winter jacket and you'll be toasty warm and deliciously dry from New Year until Christmas!

If you are keen to visit and see one of our yurts up in all it's glory, but can't make it during our opening hours.....do give us a call and we can arrange an appointment over a weekend of later on in the evening to suit.
