Had an evening meal here last Thursday (29 Nov 07)at the end of a week's business in Plymouth having tried other places in the Barbican area of the city. I had roast guinea fowl from the specials board which was excellent and a couple of glasses of Gamay which were equally excellent followed by the Assortiment de Dessert which was even better. My colleague had sirloin steak which he claimed was a bit rarer than the 'medium rare' he ordered (his own fault - he should know the French tend towards rare!) The restaurant was nearly full but had a relaxing yet lively atmosphere (if that makes sense). Service was unobtrusive but very slick and completely unfazed by the Christmas party next to us who managed to set off the fire alarms. By the way, there were some very attractive female diners there that night. Were you one of them?
