Delicious Food, Great Service, Fair Price
I recently had the pleasure of eating at Han Court Restaurant whilst holidaying in Instow and was hugely impressed. I am not from the area, so had booked the restaurant for 13 people based purely on Han Court's website and various glowing reviews I had read online - I was not disappointed. From the moment I spoke with the staff on the telephone to make the booking I was impressed by the enthusiastic and friendly way I was dealt with. When the 13 of us arrived for our meal (on a Sunday evening in June 2009), the restaurant was busy but not uncomfortably so. The ambience was relaxed, smartly casual and welcoming. The service from start to finish (we were there for over three hours) was friendly, extremely polite and helpful, all the while being subtle and unobtrusive.The food - ah, the food! - so delicious! I am not usually a fan of chinese food (Han Court specialises in Peking and Cantonese cuisine) but now I am a convert. Everything was exceptionally fresh, with a lightness that meant you could keep tucking in for hours! We ordered the set meal for three people but requested that it be for nine people with a couple of changes (i.e. chicken soup instead of beef), plus a few individual orders, and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. Everyone in our party was 'ooh-ing' and 'aah-ing' with delight over their meals, from starters through to dessert.We ate, drank and made merry to our heart's content - and the bill came out at just under £30 per person! Highly recommended indeed, and the next time I am in the area I will definitely be returning.

Nice chinese
Han Court chinese restuarant is located in Fremington opposite the Fox and hounds and new Inn pubs. It is a big place which is impeccably decorated giving it a very classy feel. The main business is a restaurant but they also do a takeaway service which is located at the back of the restaurant. You will probably need to book as it is a very popular restaurant for family meals and celebrations . The food is excellent, a vast choice and well prepared. The service is brilliant. the only downside is the price, it is on the expensive side but in this case you do get what you pay for.
