Weycroft Mill House B&B

Weycroft Mill House is historic house which was part of what used to be a working water mill producing animal feed. A building of sorts on this plot was mentioned as far back as 1089.

Our rooms are light airy and comfortable. All En suite. We use a super bedding and high quality beds to give you the best night sleep. There are many extras in the rooms including Dulce Gusto coffee machines, wine glasses and a cork screw, all to make your stay with us as relaxing comfortable as possible. Daily housekeeping is provided to those staying with us for more than one night.

Our Breakfast Menu is extensive, all cooked freshly for you. To start or for those with a smaller appetite our breakfast bar includes cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad cold meats and cheeses. We do our best to accommodate any dietary needs, if possible, please ask in advance. All ingredients, where possible are locally sourced. All to set you up for the day ahead.

Our garden is about an acre. Mainly grass and many fruit trees. This, home to our geese is surrounded on three sides by the River Axe. There is plenty seating for you to enjoy watching the wildlife in and on the river and for those desire, maybe some fishing from the bank.

Weycroft Mill House is situated on the outskirts of Axminster, not far from where Devon, Dorset and Somerset meet. Ideally placed for walking the many local footpaths. Or visiting the Jurassic coast. Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Seaton all about 6 miles away. Maybe visiting Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls River Cottage. The HQ just under 4 miles away and his Canteen and Deli just a 20 min walk away or 5 min drive. The Axminster Tools and Machinery Skill Centre just a stones throw away. So whether on business or pleasure we would like to welcome you and give you that home from home relaxing experience.
