After 3 years of visiting i thought i should share my opinion on what i can only call a hidden gem. My daughter is now 11 and still loves to visit the childrens club (adults welcome) on a Saturday afternoon. I always leave feeling de-stressed and my daughter always leaves with one of her fantastic pots. I just need a bigger house for all her treasures that shes made.

Alfreton's little gem.
Have just had a fab afternoon at David's pottery. Relaxed atmosphere, David is great with the kids (9 & 14) and delicious coffee and homemade cakes too. Much more than any Paint-a-pot, david has his own wheel and runs workshops for kids and adults alike. Unique pottery to buy, handmade by David. A little gem

Fabulous way to spend a few hours
David is the most wonderful tutor, makes equisite pottery, the coffee is first class, cakes are divine and soup delicious. An absolute gem in unassuming Alfreton.

David's Pottery is fantastic
This is the best coffee shop for miles. It is a lovely welcoming place and to say it's a pottery I feel completely relaxed taking my toddlers (2 and 4) there. They do fantastic gifts, wonderful coffee and cakes and David's pottery really is beautiful. A must if you're in the area!
