Traditional Butchers Shop

We are a family run business producing high quality beef, pork, lamb and chicken products. We have a herd of Shorthorn cattle from which we source all our beef. We hang our beef at least 21 days to give excellent flavour and texture.
We use lamb from our farm as well, we use Sufflock, Swaledale and Herdwick. All our lamb comes from traditional British breeds to give exceptional flavour.
Our pork comes from small holders in the area so we know exactly where all our meat comes from and can guarantee very high welfare standards.
We are very proud to bring great tasting meat with guaranteed traceability.
We like to bring our customers traditional meat cuts along with some more unusual products. Our speciality sausage changes monthly and can range from Cumberland with Seville orange marmalade to wild garlic.

Handmade pies

We produce a range of meat pies in store, we make everything from scratch including all our pastry. We have a large range of traditional pies such as pork, steak, mince, chicken and ham and cottage pies. We also have some more unusual flavours such as pork and black pudding and chilli with sweet potato.
All the meat for our pies comes from our onsite butchers to guarantee excellent flavour and full traceability of all our products

Delicatessan

We produce a range of cooked meats using all our meat from our onsite butchers including our homemade corned beef, traditional Westmorland cooked ham and Roast beef.
There is a range of salad options and sandwiches made to order. A range of homemade traybakes and cakes is available along with freshly baked bread.
We have freshly ground coffee from locally roasted coffee beans.
There is a daily hot lunchtime special that can range from Chilli and potato wedges to salt and pepper chicken served in a wrap with homemade coleslaw.
We have a range of dry goods including local jams and chutneys, olives and sauce mixes.

Buffets

We can offer a wide range of outside catering options within the local area including:
Pie and Peas - a range of hot pies can be delivered to your door with mushy peas and gravy, simple but hearty feel good food.
Buffets - We can offer a range of buffet options from cold meats and salads to finger food, Hors d'oeuvre or hot buffets.
We always use our own homemade products in our buffets so we can guarantee the quality of everything we produce.

Wedding and Birthday Pies

We produce a range of personalised pies, from three tiered wedding pies to birthday pies. We offer a range of different flavours and sizes from 10" to 2".
We use the meat from our onsite butchers to produce a fantastic flavoured pie, then we hand decorate the top however you like.
