Try the Durham experience, it truly is a bikers Heaven, to the east is the coast with some magnificent scenery, inland there's the beautiful historic Cathedral City of Durham. Further to the West, we enter the Durham Dales, where the National C2C route passes through. Alls of this can be ridden on miles of extensive converted railway tow-paths, or quite country roads. And of course who can forget Hamsterley Forest? This Forest has been extensively adapted for all types of cyclists. There's a tarmac road through for the roadies, miles and miles of extensive and purpose built fire roads and cross country single-track. Also it now boasts a superb downhill and 4x4 course with regular events being held.
