A great day out
I recently visited St Michael's Mount whilst on holiday in Cornwall. I is a really lovely place to visit. If the tide is out you can walk along the causeway to get to the island, ot in high tide yo are able to catch a motor boat over.The gardens on the island are really amazing with all sorts of tropical plants and beautiful landscaping.The story of the island and its castle (shown in a little cinema by the entrance to the castle) is very interesting. The castle itself is a noce place to walk around and take in some great views. There is only one problem with visiting this island, if you have difficulty walking or are in a wheelchair the accessability will be difficult as you have to walk up some very big paths to get up to the castle.
