Outstanding, Sale Private Day Nursery Ltd goes from strength to strength after its latest Ofsted inspection rated it as ‘Outstanding' in all areas. Sale Private Day Nursery Ltd, on Northenden Road and its sister nursery on Derbyshire Road South both have the same professional approach to childcare whilst providing a caring and stimulating environment for your child to develop. Having the same owners, all policies, procedures and childcare standards are mirrored at both settings as is the level of investment in facilities, equipment and the general upkeep of the nurseries.
Each nursery room is set out to meet the needs of an individual age group, providing both resources and activities that support children at each stage of their development. The environment engages and enthuses children who can initiate their own play, develop their own rules, share resources and play co-operatively with their peers.
Meticulous systems for observation, planning and assessment are in place. Teaching highly motivates children, and staff work hard to provide a dynamic range of challenging age and stage appropriate activities.
The outdoor areas are a particular feature of the nurseries. We have fully enclosed and secure areas including easy fall ground surface and purpose built hardwood play equipment with a shaded area. This enables children to have open access to outdoor and indoor play and encourages climbing, riding bikes, ball games and hopscotch. The playground has a growing to help the children gain a better understanding of nature, bugs and plants.
There is CCTV throughout for monitoring rooms and outside areas and our 15 seat minibus means that a variety of trips to the zoo, seaside, local parks and the library are a regular part of our curriculum.
We offer free government funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year old children for up to 15 hours per week although conditions do apply.
