Welcome to Sports Xtra, the UK's leading sports development and health promotion organisation. We are passionate about providing opportunities for young people to enjoy physical activity and our aim is to ensure that every child enjoys a positive experience. All our staff are suitably qualified and must undergo CRB and reference checks prior to working for Sports Xtra. We have also developed an industry-leading in-house staff training programme enabling us to deliver well planned, structured sessions that promote confidence, enjoyment and get children physically active for the maximum amount of time. The World Health Organisation recommends that children should partake in at least 60 minutes of physical activity EVERY DAY and we have designed some innovative programmes to offer something that would interest every young person. We have Sports Experiences for after school, weekends and school holidays at schools and health clubs in and around Manchester, with sports including football, basket ball and non-mainstream sports such as rock-it-ball, spy school, mini-fencing and many more, young children would be able to find something they like to do.
