very pleasant, overlooking the lake, watching Canada Geese and Coots quite peaceful. Excellent food, good prices. Scampi in light crispy batter, beautiful flavour. Steaks cooked exactly to order and tasty. Quite generous portions. Meal deals 2 for £22, includes drink and choice of two sweets. Sevice very, very rapid, waitress looked un-happy, very rushed, no pleasantries, felt as if we should eat up quickly and depart a.s.a.p. Would go again, working on the principle that the waitress, may be day off next time.

Best restaurant ever
This simply has to be the best restaurant in the entire universe. There is the English restaurant upstairs where I normally go but also a very good Italian diner on the ground floor, which I'm not going to focus on. Overlooking Sale Water Park, you get magnificent views whilst eating out in a highly professional ran and looking restaurant. The food is excellent and not too badly priced. If you come early enough, there is an early diners menu, which is at set course at an even better price. The choice of food is fantastic as the meals themselves. There is a partner restaurant in Bowdon as well, I've never been there but I should imagine it is very good – but I bet it can't beat the scenery.
