More About Our On-Site Shredding Service: On-site shredding is where we bring one of our mobile shred trucks to you. Our uniformed, security vetted staff then transfer your confidential waste to the truck. The waste is weighed before the high speed, super silent industrial document shredders cut your files into tiny fragments. The shreds are pushed into the back of the truck and we take them away. 100% of the paper shredded on-site is baled and recycled into useful paper products.

We are one of the first mobile shredding businesses to be certified with the new information security ISO27001 which is your guarantee that our mobile shredding services are fully compliant industry standards such as EN15713. Some standards such as the CPNI Standard for the Destruction of sensitive Items stipulates documents and files must be cross cut for added security. Our mobile shredding machines have cross cutting capability. Unlike other on-site shedding companies we do not charge a premium for mobile shredding and as a local shredding company we have the flexibility to agree rates dependent on your particular requirements.

Once the on-site destruction is complete you will be asked to sign the Driver's electronic hand-held which displays the total kg shredded and other details. An e-receipt is then emailed direct to you with a link to download your certificate of Destruction.

Topwood's Off-Site Shredding Service:
The collection of confidential waste for off-site shredding is a totally safe method of paper disposal. Within hours of collection by our security vetted staff the waste is weighed and tipped directly into high security industrial shredders. Documents and files are cross cut and then baled. The baled paper is sent to a local paper mill where it is pulped and recycled into useful paper products. Paper shredding and recycling could not be easier!

For our off-site destruction service collections of confidential waste can be either scheduled or ad-hoc. For regular scheduled shredding collections we provide a range of lockable consoles and wheelie bins so unwanted documents and files can safely be deposited in advance of our visit. This keeps your workplace free of sensitive documents and helps prevent breaches of security. Likewise, for our ad-hoc or bulk shredding service we can supply sacks and wheelie bins to help with periodic clearance of your documents and archives. Using our own modern fleet of GPS tracked vehicles we make shredding collections ranging from a single archive box up to an articulated lorry load of 26 pallets (1200 archive boxes).

All parts of our off -site document shredding service are accredited with information security ISO27001. This rigorous accreditation process audits the controls and processes we have in place guarantee a secure chain of custody at every stage. Our off-site shredding premises are totally secure and audited as part of our ISO27001 accreditation.

At the point of collection we ask you sign an electronic device to the confirm the quantity and this generates an e-receipt which emailed to you. Once your material is securely destroyed we send a link for you to download your Certificate of Destruction. At the end of each year we total up the kg shredded off-site and send you an environmental statement.
