Reluctantly returned here after an 'average' Christmas meal. I visit Cheshire every couple of months and will NEVER return! Dry steak, frozen scampi (mush), gammon (thick bacon rashers), cold hard chips. Strikes of mass cooking and warm to serve, fine in a Witherspoon pub, but at a country 'restaurant' with high prices I expect quality! Staff were exceptional, but be wary if you want good food... Last visit for our family...
