Not a good first impression. Poor customer service skills

First impressions count when putting your trust into somebody to take care with your expensive clothing. Unfortunately my experience in quick stitch was disgusting. The lady was very rude and made it obvious she wasn't happy with what I wanted altering to fit me. I felt like I was asking for too much and at one point I felt uncomfortable to even ask about other things I wanted altering. When she found out I had 2 of the same skirts to alter she sighed and tutted. I decided if they don't want my business I will take it somewhere else where they respect me and my harmless requests. When leaving the shop to get cash out for the deposit I felt like i had just made the biggest mistake leaving my suit skirts with a lady with that attitude. I worked myself up to go back in and make an excuse to get my items back to take them elsewhere! She didn't carefully take the pins out she was very rough and has made marks and pulls in my skirt. It was flung on the counter and her hands were thrown towards me saying "there you go" and turning her back to me and not saying a word when I left.. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service and working within customer service for the last 10 years completely angers me how anyone can be so unwelcoming and rude. Based on this I would not recommend anyone to use this service- I found another alterations company in town not far from Westgate Arcades. It is called "Stitch" on 8 Westgate upstairs. This was a very friendly man and he listened to what I wanted changing and worked with me to enable we were both happy with the alterations/fit. Half the price of Quick Stitch and much more professional service.
