Sue is a fantastic childminder! She's smart, she's very committed to running it as a business, but she's also very dedicated to the kids in her care. The Christmas video is an example - every kid took part and produced a really accomplished short film that all the parents could enjoy at home. She is very engaged with her work - goes to extra trouble to come up with new ideas. Having a range of ages really benefited my kids who enjoyed playing with the little ones. At the same time they were expected to tackle their homework and they knew they could trust Sue with their "older kid" problems. Sue, I've got to admit I'm incredibly impressed with your work and I couldn't manage half that you achieve. Let's hope you carry on doing it for a long time to come.

Sue was extremely reliable. Sue went to some lengths to establish our wishes and ensured that these were taken into account whenever applicable. We had every confidence that our child was being well looked after. Sue provided an interesting, stimulating and varied set of activities to engage our child and provide opportunities for her to develop confidence with her developing skills and social interactions. We were always updated verbally when collecting our daughter and more formally there was provision of a written diary and, latterly an online secure website through which Sue was able to provide a daily summary including photographs etc. The online diary proved to be a very successful communications tool that was always kept up to date and represented a significant improvement to a written diary. We chose to send our daughter to Sue's after fairly extensive research that included visiting a number of providers. We never had reason to doubt our conviction that Sue offered the very best of care available and would whole-heartedly recommend her to others. She showed great care and attention to our daughter and we were sad when the time came for our daughter to move on.
