Worst Hair Salon

This is the worst hairdressers I have ever had the displeasure to visit. My first visit was for an appointment at 10.30, I arrived by 10.20 and was asked to wait in the seating area, by 10.45 no one had been to see me or start cutting my hair so I went and asked a lady near reception. She said it wouldn't be much longer. at 10.55 the lady who had been having HER nails done the entire time I had been waiting came over and said she was Maria my hairdresser, with no apology. I decided to visit again as it is very close to my home and a convenient 5/6 minute walk. I was booked in for 10am, when I arrived at 9.55am the hairdressers was closed, at 10 maria and another lady arrived and unlocked. They asked me to take a seat then maria (who was supposed to be cutting my hair) went out the shop & disappeared with no word. A few minutes later she returned with the local paper and proceeded to read the paper and in particular about her team winning some kind of quiz. After 10 minutes they finally said they were ready for me. The hair cut I received this time was very poor, with chunks longer than others at the back, my husband told me to go back & get her to cut it again, she said sorry & cut a few bits to even it up, when i got home there were still parts unevenly cut, so my husband had to cut it, unbelievable considering I paid the top price for the director! I have to say I have never been back & am very disappointed in our local hair salon and their attitude towards customers. I must say I noticed it was closed a lot over Christmas and new year and this is not the sign of a busy salon, also having spoken to may of my friends that live on Watermead no one gets their hair cut there! A note to the owner, please look at getting a different manager and different work ethic in there as it could be a very busy salon.
