Disappointingly Average
Sugaring the pill - the service was great, seated straight away, menu extensive but not too much choice. Full pizza and pasta menu with a selection of more traditional meat dishes. But then it went down hill. I had sirloin steak which came with seasonal vegatables and was doused in a dull 'worst than out of a bottle' tomato based sauce. Although the vegetables were lovely the rest of the meal was just so 'Average'. Little or no seasoning at all and at least a quarter of the steak was unpleasantly chewy. My partners meat pizza was no better, a thick doughy base which was just soggy bread.On the whole I was left thinking I could do better myself given half an hour but hey, at least we got out of the house for a bit.
