Why we began cycles4communities

we 1st started back in the middle of 2007, my name is dave i am the project manager of cycles4communities. well basically we have MITCH to thank for the project he was fixing bicycles in his kitchen until one day his wife had enough, so for help he got in touch with our local street rep and to cut a very long story short Mitch said that he personally didn't want to make any money, so a not for profit organization called recycle a cycle was born. 6 months into the project we had got our selves a unit with office. then one day myself and Mitch started to notice finacial problems, it was soon apparent that our self appointed project manager (street rep) had been dipping in to the till (i have not mentioned his name for legal reasons). So myself was made project manager we form a committie got a new bank account and changed the name to cycles4communities and after the troubled time everyweek we grow all be it slow BUT WE GROW.
