My 2 terriers have been going to Hyver kennels a small family run place for 4 years now. As rescue dogs they are not without their problems and the people at Hyver have been brilliant with them. They check our vaccine records and the dogs always eat well when they are there, they feed them top quality Burns dog food that we have at home. I will never again send them to one of these big industrial doggy dumping grounds.

Hyver Kennels
Have taken dogs to Hyver for at least 10 years and have never had a problem. Nervous dog came back happy and not afraid to go again. Have always been asked for vaccination certificate and a friend has also taken all four of her dogs there for a number of years.

Our dogs go to Hyver Kennels all the time, at all times Jo and Laura have shown care and attention for my dogs to the point where they don't want to come home! This is not a sterile , 'cleaned to within an inch of it's llife kennels' , rather it is like a country family home where personal care and attention is given and it is small enough to be able to give this. 100% for Hyver !!!

only place to go
have been taking our dogs to hyver kennels for 20 years and it is the only place we would ever take our dogs,any problems and the vets are called ,just bought another dog as the last one died at 14 years of age and this one will only go to hyver kennels.

No problems
Have taken my dog to Hyver frequently, always comes back happy & healthy. In my experience they always ask for vaccination records (unless you have been in very recently and they know you are covered!) My friend's dog had a pre-existing condition and they managed very well, she became ill and was rushed to the vet immediately. I would like to point out that the owners' granddaughter often helps out and you can't get much younger than that! Yes the food bowls are left in disinfectant to soak, before they are scrubbed (have witnessed this), and when I have been there the reception looks clean. They are always busy and I know that several vets use them, so I am perfectly happy to entrust them with the care of my dogs!
