i have lived in camberwell for 5 years and tried every place there is. poppudum has the best popudums, the best naan bread, the best onion bahjies, and a pretty top notch array of chicken curries. the lamb is not all that great compared with tayaabs near the london mosk but its definitely the best for miles and quality is worth waiting an hour for. in future phone them an hour before you are going to be peckish!

Menu: Exciting Execution: Poor Shockingly bad... Having had a good looking menu put through my door I knew I was in their area. I placed the order by phone at 20.06 and after waiting for an hour I had to ring them 7 times to find out where my food was. After a further 45 minutes I cancelled the order. Given the competition in London these guys need to sharpen up their act

if it took you an hour to get it, why don't you go to a takeaway closer to your house? poppadom has been serving and delivering me good food at a competitive rate for what you get, that me and my friends enjoy.. nice food, nice people

Food sounded great, shame we had to wait nearly twice the quoted time to receive it. Told it would arrive between 45min-1 hour and it took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. Food was ok but cold. Not a place I'll use again. I think it doesn't deserve a star but the website insists it is at least a one star establishment.

Everything that I ordered was disgusting. The samosas were AWFUL!!!! The Fish Madras was AWFUL and I had to wait for over an hour for it to arrive!! They have plagarised off the menu from The Bombay Bicycle Club but their food is not a match. The chef needs to be sacked!

Thin sauces, hard chickpeas. Miserable. These days Indian takeaways are all redoing their menus to look minimalist and groovy. Don't be fooled. Pappadom may have the menu, but it ain't got anything else.
